I think I've got a bit out of sequence with your travels. Are you now back in La Paz after going to the salt flats? Hope you had a good time there. Please let us know how you got on. Anne is now back in Birmingham and life is quiet again. Some surprising news - do you remember Malcolm and Desna's adopted son Mark who disappeared off to America about 12 years ago. He has been back in touch from LA. Not too sure of the details, what he is doing and why he left, but at least things look promising.
Best Wishes

Hope you had a good time in Patagonia. Believe it or not, my copy of Trail arrived this morning and there was an article in it about Torres del Paine, written in December by two guys called Owen Rodd and Mark Elsesser. I don't suppose you met them on your travels?
Write soon.
Love

Glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself. I think that your odd creature was an opossum. Good luck in your trip to Bariloche - how long a trip is it? Presumably it is an overnighter.

Keep smiling
