Dr. Ward is correct that recalibration alone did not resolve the interval. I have not concluded the instruments are at fault — I have concluded we have not yet excluded them. Those are different claims. I am requesting authorization to run a blind recalibration trial using instruments with no connection to the Meridian storage lot, at a fourth site, before this department commits further resources to the "echo" framework as a working theory.
